'INSERT COIN / PLAYER ONE' from @insertcoin_playerone
@karakashyanandartists

"It’s performances like these that get you excited about the future of theatre – a true melting pot of multimedia, dance, physical theatre and characterisation that delivers on every wild promise it sets out to make." - @shaymace.arts

'Hellbent: or A Sorry Sight in the West' from @goingroguetheatreco

"A daring, handsome riot, perfect for a night out with the girls." - @meoromiro

'Are You Lovin' It?' from @theatregroupgumbo

"This preposterous, enthralling, laugh-a-minute jumble through the worst of humanity, and how we got here, delivers a powerful message, and even more powerful belly-laughs. Doo doo doo do-do." - @shaymace.arts

'Tonight! a clown who wanted to be loved?' from @algobaruch

"Joyful, gentle, impish clowning that invites the whole audience to take part, be seen, and muck about." - @shaymace.arts taken in Thessaloniki Fringe Festival by @bingefringemag

'SmaDragdus' at @thessfringe from @fratelledellaperpetuaindecenza

"An utterly giddy, maniacal endeavour that unravels with whiplash-inducing speed over an unforgettable half hour cabaret performance. Truly unique, you should not miss a chance to be blessed by their sermon." - @shaymace.arts

'A Lucky Refugee?' at @melbfringe from @hahawithbaha

"His story belongs to him. And armed with a microphone, some PTSD and Sasha’s passport photo, this magnificent storyteller has us dancing on his strings. What an honour it was to be one of his puppets." - @sarah_kherbek

'The BUS' at @thessfringe from @the_bus_performance

"Vivid, imaginative, playful theatre-making of the most physical variety, with plenty of big questions burst open in its unravelling." - @shaymace.arts

'Glimpses of Heaven' @melbfringe from @maryagnesoloughlin

"Everything happened in that tiny room. I laughed, I sobbed, I was devastated and elated. I existed inside memories I was not ready to leave. I caught glimpses of Hannah, young and old. Glimpses of a mother’s love and the destruction of her addiction. Glimpses of joy surviving amongst the grief; of humour, hope and love refusing to disappear simply because something terrible exists beside them." - @sarah_kherbek taken in Thessaloniki Fringe Festival by @bingefringemag

We're halfway through @dundeefringe - and it's time to look at the 4 & 5* reviews from Binge Fringe's writers so far this edition:

'WHY MAGIC?' from @daniel_cremin

"Audiences who love magic, and perhaps even those who are deferent, will adore this sentimental, smart, and refined soul-searching play, packed with plenty of light laughs along the way." - @shaymace.arts

'Twonkey’s Soft December Night in Tallahassee' from @twonkeyverse

"By many a critical standard Twonkey’s Soft December Night in Talahasee is a terrible piece of theatre. But what the hell is the point in standards if they blind us from the value in this. This won’t be for everyone but it is legitimately beautiful. A truimph." - @thesalvadorkent

'Bite'

"Brilliantly balances a friendship dynamic that’s familiar to lots of people with the perfect amount of horror." - @ellen.leslie taken in Dundee Fringe by @bingefringemag

'Kirsty Mann: Corpse' from @kurdymann

"Corpse takes us on a chilling journey through the true story of Mann’s attempt to work out if her house is haunted… and if it is, what to do about it? Kirsty Mann is compelling and brilliant in this comedy-horror show. Try and snag a ticket if you dare." - @issy_jacob

'ADEY ኣደይ' from @hxhbethlehem

"Leaves you wanting to send WhatsApp voice notes to all the matriarchs in your life, yearning to hear their voices, just so you know everything is going to be alright. They hear you, so you are heard." - @blemmefatale

'Nuns!' from @dogcomplextheatre

"A diamond in the rough, Nuns! is one of those that, once you see it, you will want to keep tabs on everything this company does for the rest of all time. Dog Complex Theatre, we thank you." - @issycory

'Megasquirt: Fully Loaded' from @megasquirtfullyloaded

"We were told we would leave Fully Loaded, and I certainly felt full of something – ecstasy? inspiration? – when I walked home from Cowgate at 1am, that’s for sure." - @issy_jacob

'Mothman: A Romance Musical' from @mothman_a_romance_musical

"Queer, unapologetically strange and non-stop fun; it embodies the spirit of fringe theatre and I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes a cult classic." - @freddiehaberfellnerwriter taken in Edinburgh Festival Fringe by @bingefringemag
