Found a hidden slice of Tokyo right here in the Bay at Kodawari! 🇯🇵✨ Stepping into their clean, gorgeous space and dining in the private tatami room gave me major flashbacks to Japan 🏯—complete with top-tier, incredibly attentive service. Every single bite was a masterpiece ✨. We kicked things off with their signature salmon cone, and the sashimi fish was so insanely fresh it literally melted in your mouth. The omakase set & gyukatsu, no words, just nostalgia hit from my last Tokyo trip 🍣🗼. If you’re craving an authentic Japanese escape without booking a flight, add this spot to your list immediately. 📍 Kodawari Japanese Cuisine, San Mateo Thank you @kodawarijapanesecuisine for the best experience! Are you a Garlic Boy? (Or girl?) 🧄 If you’re obsessed with garlic, you need to check out Garlic High @garlic.high_sunnyvale !   This family-owned hidden gem specializes in incredible ramen and mazesoba (brothless ramen) 🍜. The best part? You fill out your own paper order sheet to customize everything down to your garlic level—and true garlic fiends definitely have to go with HEAVY garlic 🧄🧄. The ramen is topped with a mountain of bean sprouts to balance the porky richness. If you go for the mazesoba, make sure to add the raw egg and mix it in for the ultimate silky texture. They even have mini rice bowls 🍚 if anyone in your group wants something a little lighter.  📍 Garlic High – Sunnyvale, CA  💾 SAVE this video for your next ramen craving!  Thanks @garlic.high_sunnyvale for the yummy food!
