Over ten years ago I started the Movable Beast with an eye to helping people feel more comfortable transitioning into a gym environment. The plan was to help them train at home and become familiar with weights and with a routine that worked for them. That niche didn’t seem to exist; everyone knew what they wanted!

The Movable Beast evolved and discovered that the people who needed training from their home were folks primarily with mobility issues. And there were others who simply needed the motivation to get through the workout. And others enjoyed the service, training right from their gym.

During the pandemic I built a studio at my place. When things opened up, clients were able to train from my studio. This worked well for most of my clients, even my next-door neighbour!

Recently there has been a demand to return to my roots. People with mobility issues, hip or knee replacements, post rehab support for prescribed exercises prefer that I train them in their home. So I am returning to my roots, and while also offering both my services, am offering training at your home, if you prefer.
