You came into our lives like a bright little star, filled our home with light and love, and faded far too soon. 💔
Today we lost our Nova. She passed away before the surgery even began. During the preparation and anesthesia, she stopped breathing. The doctors tried to resuscitate her and put her on life support, but then her little heart stopped too.
Five months. Only five months with us.
It wasn’t enough. Not nearly enough.
We didn’t have enough time with you, Nova. Cesur didn’t have enough time with you. I didn’t have enough of the life we were supposed to have together.
But in that short time, you became part of our family, our home, and Cesur’s heart. Today Cesur said goodbye to his girl, and we laid you to rest.

Today, the world has fallen silent.
Bonny — my sunshine boy, my teacher of patience and gentleness — has left.
He lived a life filled with love, soft touches, and quiet evenings by my side.
He knew he was loved — until his very last breath, his very last look.
In his eyes, there was everything — trust, strength, and gratitude.
I told him that if the pain was too strong, he could go… and he understood.
He left peacefully, to the sound of my voice, wrapped in warmth and love.
He is no longer beside me, but he is everywhere —
in every corner of the house, in every breath, in every memory.
He will always be my Bonny —
my light, my world, my symbol of calm and happiness. 🤍
Thank you all for loving him with me.
His gentle soul touched so many hearts,
and he’ll stay alive in each one. 🌿

Ruby has left us.
She was my little sunshine and fought for her life with a strength few beings ever show.
I want to share something important — not to point fingers, but perhaps to help save another life.
I realized far too late that what we mistook for pain, stress, or weakness was in fact a severe side effect of an opioid pain medication.
Her breathing, coordination, awareness and GI functions were fading not because of the dental surgery itself, but because of the drug. These reactions in rabbits can be terribly deceptive, and even experienced veterinarians often interpret them as part of the disease.
This isn’t about criticism or blame — it’s a warning.
If your bunny is receiving opioids, please watch their breathing, alertness, appetite, and movement closely. Sometimes the danger comes not from the disease, but from the body’s reaction to a medication.
My princess Ruby was unbelievably strong. She held on with everything she had and fought until her very last moment.
She passed away in my arms… quietly, gently, wrapped in love.
She loved Bonny so much — and now she has gone to be with him, somewhere peaceful.

Bunny people, have you seen this sleeping position before? 🐰
Lily often climbs onto her bed, then lowers the front half of her body onto the floor, leaving her bottom and back legs slightly raised.
She seems completely relaxed, eats well and moves normally — but she sleeps like this so often that I’m curious. Has anyone seen this before? Just a funny favorite position, or could there be a reason?
P.S. Please don’t judge Lily’s little brown bottom. 🤎 She came to us with severe urine scald, hair loss and sores. Her skin is healing well, but she needs some time to become snow-white again. 🤍

Losing my little star Nova broke something in me that still hurts more than I can put into words. ⭐️🤍
And Cesur was grieving too. He became quiet, lonely, and lost without his girl. I could see how much he missed having another bunny beside him.
My heart wasn’t ready to choose another bunny. Maybe it still isn’t.
So I decided not to choose.
I decided to let Cesur choose.
We met several bunnies, and among them, there was one little girl he chose to approach.
And today Lily came home.
She is not here to replace Nova. No one ever could. Nova will always be our little star, and the place she left in my heart will always be hers.
Lily is a new little soul with her own story.
And perhaps this time, the story didn’t begin with me choosing her.
It began with Cesur choosing her. 🤍🐰

Somehow... you never get used to flops like these. 🤍
Every single time it feels like I'm witnessing something so impossibly precious that the whole world seems to pause for a second.
Bonny used to sleep exactly like this. Now Nova does the very same thing.
Little paws tossed into the air. Head gently tilted back. Tiny teeth peeking out... Completely safe. Completely relaxed. Completely happy.
And somehow... it still takes my breath away every single time. 🤍
