“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”
Our ‘not-so-little’ warrior, who introduced me to the purest form of love & opened a door to my heart leading to emotions I never knew existed, finally went to sleep forever on Thursday, 30th November, after giving death a very tough fight.
But before going, didn’t forget to provide us a purpose and made sure there is someone else, trained by him personally to keep us distracted, and until then, he patiently waited before finally crossing the rainbow bridge.
Before Thursday, every day was a battle and a bonus, where he used to dodge death and say “Not Today.”
But then the day arrived, and the one who used to battle for hours and hours, was gone in less than 50 mins.
No more inhalers, medicines, nebulizers, and struggles !! Meet you on the other side baby!

This mama cat and her kittens were in Sharjah and this dumped mama gave birth there to kittens who were always hiding (most of the times) and people were feeding them often. Mama cat was so disciplined and domesticated that she used to air outside baqala for us to buy food for her. But people and kids used to bug her as well, they used to harass, beat and scare her.
I wasn’t able to trap as the kitten number and exact location was unknown until I moved emirate.
A lady offered them garden space too but now when I ask people, salon where she used to wait outside etc, they say they have not seen her. She doesn’t come there now (as per them) and it’s been a year now almost looking for her. I hope she has been rescued with her babies. If someone knows, plz let me know.
