Everyone’s knows I have a profound addiction to pirate related topics, you can’t imagine my reaction when I discovered I would be making an episode about it by @binou.art

I had the pleasure of working on our last three micro-episodes at @claynosaurz ! This one is called All Hands Off Deck on YouTube

My role was to create the overall atmosphere for all the episodes. I had a lot of artistic freedom to produce visuals that I was happy with in such a short production and I hope you’ll like them to.

I have to thank the incredible team I worked with, who supported me so much throughout this adventure. So a Huge thank you to @liu.will my dear Head of CG, without whom I wouldn’t have the chance to work on these amazing projects. Also, a big shoutout to @seeratranaa who did everything to make our ambitions a reality, and of course a big congratulations to danieljervisart, who orchestrated this entire production with great kindness and leadership.

Special thanks to @kapikappi our incredible storyboard artiste, and Jorge Vigara our genius animator.

Of course, a huge congratulations and thank you to all the other team members I can’t name, and I sincerely hope we can work together again on future episodes.
But for that to happen, everyone needs to go watch the episodes on YouTube here : https://youtu.be/J273nmGRUkM?is=xp2aZTwmfEIp12v0

Thank you for everyone who checked/reposted and liked it means a lot to our small team !

Recently I’ve been doing more of those color study, trying to not use any hue / saturation shift, color picker, nor sketch and I’m trying to focus on the big picture (big shapes and color theme) and not getting lost in details.
Painting has became quite painful for me these days, I was always trying to get masterpiece out each time I’m doodling and i got bored of it pretty quickly.
So I’m happy to say that I had fun this time ! This was quite fast, I did that under 3 hours and really tried to not ruin my mood by over expecting quality. Turns out I even like the result !

Today i quickly studied the great work of @_megha_bhatt_ and i gotta say that i really enjoyed learning her style and i’ve learnt a lot throughout the process. I really encourage people to try imitating art from people you admire, and some of the best lessons i’ve learnt were not within words but whitin strokes and style ! by @binou.art
