Gathering Two was filled with intimate stories, quiet moments, and a sense of calm around the table. The multigenerational and diverse group brought a special warmth to the evening, making the gathering feel both meaningful and beautifully shared.

Romantic Garden Tablescape for the one and only @yashamdan27 bridal shower a few weeks ago 🌸✨

A tablescape design that went hand-in-hand with the overall theme of a Book Lovers Dream. The idea was to create a spread that felt romantic and effortless - a spread you would find in a garden after going for a stroll where you and your beloved could sit for hours reading to each other while nibbling on small bites and indulging on fresh fruit and sweet treats 📖🍇🌸

For a bride @yashamdan27 who finds magic between the pages… 📖🤍
Every detail of this bridal shower felt like bringing her favorite love story to life. From the smallest touches to the final setup, I truly enjoyed creating every single detail.
Because the most beautiful new chapter deserves a celebration written just for her. 📚💍

Four Milwaukee artists join us for a conversation about art as confrontation, not comfort. Artist as witness - where creative practice becomes inseparable from resistance, memory, and collective grief.

🎨 Amal Azzam - interdisciplinary artist, co-founder of Fanana Banana, 2025 Milwaukee Arts Board Artist of the Year

🎤 Aya in the Sky - musician, first Palestinian artist to headline Summerfest

🖌️ Liala Amin - painter + art therapist exploring faith, identity, and healing through mixed media

🍽️ Muna Sharma - food artist + organizer, founder of Bint Jamila’s Table

Four mediums. One thread: art as memory, resistance, and witness.
Real talk, among pals. Coming soon.

sorry can’t talk right now I’m doing hot girl shit

Fun fact, I almost never roll waraq dawali - they are mama’s thing. But this weekend I got to sit around a table with other women for a couple of hours and roll some thanks to @100paliwomen an art project by @amillie.art

And honestly, it was a magical experience 🥹

The table was filled with laughter and chatter, I got to meet aunties that knew my grandma lol, introduce my friends to a part of my culture, have a whole ass photo shoot!!!, and the best part i didn’t have to prep anything, I just showed up and started rolling.

My favorite art is interactive and immersive and something I can see myself in. This experience was exactly that.

There are 4 sessions remaining. Reserve your seat asap trust me 😭 taken in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by @bintjamilastable

Been feeling really low energy lately so Faisal shared this video he took at the Nakba commemoration bbq with me to help cheer me up 🥹🥹🤍🤍

Safe to say it worked 😭😭😭

It’s always so humbling and inspiring hearing how people feel about the food I make, the space i curate, and the art I share. Alhamdulillah alhamdullilah alhamdulillah

Also cheers to the partners who make it their mission to uplift and support us no matter what 🫶🏽 by @bintjamilastable

A thank you and love letter to the creative women in our community and beyond 🤍

Looking back at everything Fanana has held this year so far, Fanana at Night still feels like one of the most magical moments.

This evening came together with a very small team, and with the generosity of so many women who offered their time, effort, space, and talent to support and celebrate Arab women in the arts.

To think this event was originally planned for a different venue, but found its way to Safadi Coffee, with Haneen opening her space, Muna guiding us with such grace, and Aya and Mar filling the room with their incredible voices.

This night filled Fanana’s creative cup for months after.

Thank you 🤍🫶 by @bintjamilastable
