This is the story of Amira aka Mimi; after disappearing for something like 24hours, I hear a familiar distress howl coming from my neighbour’s upstairs windows, as I return from a visit with another. It’s Mimi trapped inside of a dusty, hazardous building site. 1 long climb up my trusty wooden fireman’s ladder and nothing. She’s too frightened to come down the high ladder, and is now really stressed, thinking I will kill her…decide to leave her be, and come back later once she has had time to calm down. Neighbour is busy and must leave after opening the door but leaves a back window slightly ajar. It proves impossible for her to jump up and out- too high, ledge too small. Friend Clara tries coaxing her nearly managing to hoist herself in, but after several failed attempts, signs off. Thank you Bella! I go back with chair and also calmly chat with Mimi through the downstairs high flap window. After many attempts, she finally decides it will be a good idea to jump on the chair we’ve now hoisted through the window and plonked down from quite a height and reach her white, now grey with heaping dust paws up. On the 2nd try, after many hours of toil (it’s getting dark!) at long last I pull her long body up and through the window to safety. Everyone on the street congratulates Mimi. Everyone is shocked I actually have her at last! Now she has had 1 of her 1st baths, which she did not enjoy! The water was nearly black. But now that she is wrapped up, I think we have convinced her, that we are in fact, not going to drown her! Mimi is safe and clean, fed and watered. Mommy is completely knackered…Good Night All! 🫠 God bless curious adventurers…hmmm😅 by @binxter45

Holly & the Ivy…Yay! The honey bees are back with us! The sunshine brought the pollen on the ivy blossoms. Folks, if you have a tall ivy hedge👌😍then keep it for the bees, who badly need pollen and the blackbirds, who make it their nesting site. ❤️🥰 by @binxter45
