Proudly attended Saturday’s #MarchForOurLives protest. I feel like Parkland was a real flashpoint in our country’s history - not just in the fight for better gun control laws, but also for getting younger people to vote. Was floored to see so many students at this event. taken in March for Our Lives Los Angeles by @bionicdave

A message from Father Time and Baby New Year!
Just wanted to say hello, and to wish you the very best for this 2018 that’s dawning. Holiday letters should be hopeful and pack some surprises, so allow me to mention that “Blade Runner 2049” proved my fears wrong and was spectacular! (see two posts ago). A few months before that, I got to go on a gorgeous cruise up the Rhine River to Amsterdam (see 9-15 posts ago). But the important stuff from the year didn’t get dedicated posts on this Instagram. For instance, while millions go without food or shelter, I am fortunate to have both (infinity Likes). Am lucky enough to have good friends, and a warm wonderful family that likes me (#blessed). My health has been pretty strong (sexy dm from the universe). And yes, while Star Wars did dump me lol, I am hoping to jump aboard a new fantasy franchise, one I’ve never seen nor read: Harry Potter! Book 1 arrived two days ago and I am so curious to see what everyone’s been talking about all these years. Cheers to a new year of new adventures - and to continued blessings for us all. by @bionicdave

About to walk into #BladeRunner2049, the sequel to 1982’s #BladeRunner, my favorite film of all time. I have been dreading any talk about a sequel for years. Decades, now. Oh well. Time to die, time to live... let’s see what we’ve got here. taken in ArcLight Cinemas Sherman Oaks by @bionicdave

#fbf to the highlight of my #ComicCon: the "Blade Runner 2049 Experience," immersing fans like @OlivierLebourg and me into the dystopian L.A. of #DenisVilleneuve's upcoming sequel to #RidleyScott's masterpiece film. #BladeRunner's my all-time favorite - so spending a whole night exploring this realistic simulation was indescribably cool. It began with a VR ride, a #spinner car chase through the skies of future L.A. - then you are walked onto a rainy set with a crashed spinner (am guessing that happens in the new movie?) all beside a full city block set - with lots of "inhabitants" engaging and interacting with you! Cops, bar keepers, street people, hookers, replicants, clubgoers... I didn't want to leave. Swipe thru for a peek :)
