People always tell me I’m never at the shop during open hours. So now there are no open hours. If you see me inside - come on in!

15 years on the press, 10 running my own shop, and 1 in the Midtown space.
A lot of what I know came from figuring things out the hard way, so lately I’ve been turning that into tools for other printers — inktracker, plus some free ones on the site. If you run a shop, take a look and tell me what you think.

This Earth day I wanted to highlight what I’m most excited about in my shop: @livinginktech and their Algae Ink! I can’t think of a better partner to work with as I work towards Biota’s conservation goals. by @biota.mfg

All hail the mighty Pika 🙏🏼 Can you guess how many brush strokes went into this illustration? Closest guess will get one of these shirts when it moves to press. by @biota.mfg

Wild places have always shaped my work.
Now they’re shaping my business.

After 10 years as a local print shop, Biota is evolving to help fund land conservation.

The Bristlecone presale is live through Sunday—part of the proceeds support this effort.

Had the pleasure of doing some film and photography work for Joe @biota.mfg He just recently opened up a screen printing shop in the heart and soul of Midtown Reno. Go check out his shop. He would love to chat and tell you the in and outs of screen printing. Pick up some gear while you’re at it!

After nearly 10 years of running my screen printing business, I have officially opened my own brick and mortar right in the heart of Midtown Reno! Thanks to everyone who has come by to show some support during the building process and a huge shout out to @theafiftyninebrand for capturing the space and listening to me explain how cool screen printing is for hours. And most of all - thanks to @alicole92 for pushing me to take the risk and go all in on the dream! taken in Midtown Reno by @biota.mfg

It's unacceptable that our leaders are disregarding our public lands and the people who work tirelessly to protect them. It’s time for us to step up and make a difference!
Moving forward, a portion of all sales from my shop will go towards supporting the cause of preserving our planet.
Let's work together to secure a better future! taken in Planet Earth by @biota.mfg
