Weird leaves? Some of the most common causes and how to fix them 🩺

✅ Yellow leaves (nitrogen deficiency): Add growth fertilizer slowly. Normal at the end of flowering.
✅ Yellow + green veins (magnesium deficiency): Use Mg/Ca if using RO or soft water.
✅ Claws / downward curl (nutrient excess): Reduce fertilizer dose by half. If serious, water only.
✅ Upward curl / taco shape (heat stress): Raise light 10cm or improve ventilation. Outdoors → seek shade.
✅ Rust spots (calcium deficiency): Add calcium through lime, eggshells, or cal-mag fertilizer.

Weird leaves? Part 2: Common issues & fixes 🩺

🟣 Purple old leaves (Phosphorus): Add P-rich bloom fertilizer. Common if temps are low.
🔥 Necrotic edges (Potassium): Increase K in your nutrients progressively.
🟡 Yellow new leaves + green veins (Iron): pH lockout. Active living soil buffers pH naturally.
⚪ Pale new growth (Sulfur): Add sulfur-rich organic matter.
🌀 Deformed leaves (Boron/Zinc): Often due to pH. Keep humus levels high.
💧 Droopy + Heavy pot (Overwatering): Let it dry. If it’s heavy, don't water.
🏜️ Droopy + Light pot (Underwatering): Water now and check frequency!

Sowing seeds: the 5 mistakes that ruin a batch before it even germinates.

📦 Read the pack instructions first — every variety has its own temperature and depth window.
♨️ Substrate temperature matters more than room temperature: cold soil delays germination even in a heated space.
🗓️ Sowing too early exposes seedlings to late frost — indoor and outdoor sowing dates aren't the same.
📏 Burying a seed deeper than needed drains its energy before it reaches the surface.
🧪 Not sure about a batch's viability? Test a few seeds on damp paper before sowing the whole pack.

BIO PK 5-8: applying it right is as easy as watering🚰

Dissolve the dose in 1L of water and water. No measuring pH, no measuring EC — the substrate biology self-regulates, so you can completely forget about meters and chemical correctors.

If you grow with AutoPot, do not put it in the reservoir — it can clog the AQUAvalve. Always apply it by hand, with the system turned off 24 hours before and after.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor, for any type of plant.

How to choose the right light spectrum for indoor growing.

Plants don't see light the way you do 👁️
Your eyes peak at green light. Plants use two narrow bands: blue for vegetative growth, red for flowering — everything in between is mostly wasted energy.

💡 Quick tech reference:

Blue spectrum → stem & leaf development
Red spectrum → flowering & fruiting
Light cycle veg: 18/6
Light cycle flower: 12/12
Rising grow room temp = controller cuts light intensity to compensate

Match the lamp to the room, match the cycle to the phase. Simple physics, big results.
