❄️THE WINTER WARMING SOCIAL: 18TH DECEMBER 🪩 It’s winter outside, but we’re staying warm inside our local LGBTI+ centre with a winter warming social! Let’s wrap up this year together with some low stakes social activities and an amazing DJ set from the uber talented @gottabevini ! ✨ Celebration Circle: this year, we’re celebrating our accomplishments! especially the micro ones that go overlooked; whether thats finally finishing that book you were reading or learning to take more time to rest. 🎶 DJ Set by @gottabevini : wildly talented DJ Vini will be spicing up our evening with a DJ set, starting at 8:30PM - don’t miss their electric, vibrant and energetic beats! 🃏 Tarot Readings: with the new year around the corner, get a FREE tarot reading to prepare you for whats next, starting at 9PM! Hey DEVIANTS! Our next event is a week away! Yes a bit last minute this time, it's been really hard trying to find a venue for this 😅. We've got 3 wonderful qtbipoc short films, then a open discussion about them! What we'll be screening: Madhu, Here, Hopefully, and Lovesick: Spring will Come. It'll be at a private intimate venue(our co-organizer's house) so registrations are very limited at 15 people. Unlike all our previous events, this event is OPEN TO ALL, NOT ONLY BIPOC, as we want to create a space for everyone to enjoy, learn from and support BIPOC filmmakers! So please invite all your friends ✨ Byo snacks,drinks, ++. DM to RSVP here or on our TG. We're so excited to put together our second event, a guided medicine walk! Details on exactly where will be sent the night before. Please do not share! Some things to note: Unfortunately the route is not wheel chair accessible. It's likely going to involve inclines and some rough terrain, but we will be keeping together as a group and able to take as many breaks as needed. It's going to be hot and sunny! There's no taps for water, so make sure you bring enough to stay hydrated. There's also no washrooms, the organizers will have a roll of toilet paper in case, but try to go before you come! Please wear appropriate footwear, and have a yoga mat/towel/blanket for the movement session and picnic! by @bipoc.deviants
