We’re Laura, Will, and our little farm family – and we’re so excited to have you here.
Nestled in the stunning Herefordshire countryside, Bircher Farm Stud is not just home to our horses, sheep, dogs, ducks, and cats – it’s also where you’ll find our beautiful holiday cottages, perfect for a peaceful rural escape.

Whether you’re here for a horsey break, countryside walks, or to simply switch off and soak in the views, our cottages offer a cosy stay in the heart of farm life – with the chance to meet the animals and see what we’re up to behind the scenes!

We’re also home to Dressage Rider @thyer_22 and Horsemanship Trainer @whbt, and every day is a blend of training horses, wrangling babies, checking sheep, and keeping life on the farm ticking over.

A big thank you to all our lovely new followers – especially those who found us through our giveaway with the amazing dear friend @hugoandursula We’re so happy you’re here! 💚

Stick around for countryside chaos, training insights, family moments, and maybe even planning your own escape to the farm.

Let us know where you’re from – and if you’d love a rural break sometime soon!

Because a countryside escape isn’t quite the same without them 🐾🤎

At Bircher, your four-legged family members are very much invited too.

Long countryside walks from the doorstep, enclosed gardens, plenty of new smells investigate and dog friendly spots to enjoy close by ☕️

Come for a few days of fresh air, muddy paws, slow mornings and evenings back at the cottage 🍂

And just like that… our final Horsemanship & Confidence Camp of the year is happening next week! 🐴🤎

What a year it’s been. A huge thank you to everyone who has booked, brought their horses, learnt with us, laughed with us and made each camp what it is. We’ve loved having you at Bircher Farm 💚

The good news? ✨ 2027 dates are already in the diary and we have a feeling spaces won’t hang around for long 👀

If you’d like to join us next year, get in touch to enquire or secure your space.

And keep your eyes peeled… we might have something a little different coming too. A new kind of horse camp is on its way 👀🐴
