The weekend 3rd and 4th July at @cornerteateret will be two very special events back to back. For a limited time only we are offering a very special weekend ticket to both events for only 300nok!!

Friday 3rd July none other than @maddersuk will be touching down in Bergen for his Norwegian Debut to showcase his true junglist sound. He will be joined by @dnb_society residents @meskalinyuna @tellevdnb @bird.karl
Expect quality jungle drum and bass throughout the night.

Saturday 4th July the legendary @skatunlyd will be bringing the full power of his home-built paraflex sound system for a bass heavy listening experience with Noise Floor. Come along during the day where there will be open decks and a chance to hear the full bass heavy frequencies in multiple genres. Then as the evening draws in, a whole host of talented djs and artists will be bringing their signature sound to make the place shake. Including @skankinoslo @brx_osl and many others!

Excited to announce the first installment of Bass Corner 2026....

Physics will be making his Bergen Debut!!!

Hailing all the way from Helsinki, Finnland, Physics is the driving force behind Midnight Sun Recordings.

Active since 1998, he’s known for crafting deep, soulful rollers with enough weight to hold their
own on any dancefloor. His music has found homes on iconic labels such as Metalheadz, Hospital Records,
Liquid V, and Fokuz.

As a DJ, Physics is a trusted name in the scene, with support from legends like Goldie, LTJ Bukem, and DJ
Storm. His sets are immersive journeys through the genre’s full spectrum, always loaded with dubplates,
unreleased cuts, and future classics.
Beyond his solo work, he also explores deeper collaborations as one half of Midnight Sons alongside
Christian Champagne, pushing the boundaries of contemporary D&B while staying rooted in the genre’s
essence. Whether in the studio or behind the decks, Physics keeps the soul in drum & bass alive.

Last night i fullfilled a dream of bringing my two passions, art and djing in to the same space.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Bergen Underground together with @dnb_society
To make the most epic of halloween parties.

When i originally made this dyptych, Forest Rave (2022) i always wanted to see them in a clubspace. This project grew naturally into a full installation and stage design, which i was privillaged to be able make happen in kongesalen @cornerteateret .

Many thanks to all the creepy ravers that came out to make this night weird and cool. Thanks to all the djs @jose_.monsalve @espenkrill @kasia_rdzanek @breial_no @meskalinyuna who brought such killer sets! Thanks to @skatunlyd for providing the immaculate sound as always. Thanks to @jurgen_hutmacher

I NUET

Kanskje er det slik at om man følger for mange regler og bringer inn forhåndstanker til et kunstnersamspill, så snyter man selve kunsten for autentiske nyanser?

@arild_instanes og @bird.karl har i allefall klare tanker om å skape i nuet - å se hva som skjer i selve prosessen og å fange elementene der og da.

De er begge tydelige kolorister og har forankring i det abstrakte formspråket. Dessuten kan vi godt kalle dem urbane estetikere som bergtas av rå, industrielle og byrelaterte detaljer. Men også naturen.

I disse dager har de inntatt kunstnerhallen @mellomrommet_kronstadparken for å begi seg ut på prosjektet vårt «To kunstnere - ett lerret”, sesong 2.
Vi utforsker stadig verdibegrepet dialog, og ønsker å si noe om mekanismer for gode samspill gjennom kunstnerprosessene.

Prosjektet er i samspill med @baraeiendom , og medkurator er Rebekka Thistel fra @gallerigeo

DEN STORE SALGSFINALEN / VERNISSAGE🍸
Fredag 13. juni inviterer vi til stor salgsfinale av samtlige kunstverk fra sesong 2. Totalt 14 spennende kunstnere er deltagende. All inntekt vies Haukeland Universitetssjukehus, øremerket tilpasset kunstinnkjøp.

EN VERDEN I URO
Hva er dialog?, og hvilke mekanismer må være aktive for at fruktbar dialog skal være et faktum? Det er slike spørsmål vi kan nærme oss når to vidt forskjellige kunstnere utfordres til å arbeide på felles lerret.
Verdenen, både globalt og her hjemme, viser oss at verdibegrepet dialog stadig er en tilbakevendende aktualitet å dvele ved. Å gi oss hen til kreative prosesser, og i samspill med dedikerte kunstnere, gir oss noen spennende innganger til tematikken, mener vi✨💫

Prosjektet er en samproduksjon med @baraeiendom og medkurator er Rebekka Thistel fra @gallerigeo og munner bl a ut i midler til visuell oppgradering ved HUS.

All inntekt fra salg av kunst i prosjektet vies nemlig Haukeland Universitetssjukehus øremerket tilpasset kunstinnkjøp.

VERNISSAGE / KAFFESLABBERAS 13. JUNI
Den store salgsfinalen med vernissage, og hvor alle kunstnerne fra sesongen er deltagende, går av stabelen 13. juni ( link til arr. i profil).
