The ANU campus in Canberra is home to six different species of cockatoos. To find the Gang-Gang, you need to listen carefully for the gentle "creaky hinge" call that it makes while feeding. Unlike the most other cockatoos they rarely feed on the ground.

I drove 2000km to find my final cockatoo. I saw this small flock of Cockatiels near Minilya. I have photographed 13 of Australia's 14 cockatoos, only missing the Palm cockatoo due to flooding in Cape York. taken in Minilya by @birdphotography
