BIRDS ARE SHIT IS STARTING OVER.

Well, this is awkward.

BAS was supposed to be a stupid little project slagging off colourful birds, with the dream of bringing attention to the working-class heroes of the avian world. While on our quest for ridiculously increasing propaganda we used generative AI.

For a project ostensibly about appreciating the natural world, that was rather stupid. A stupid IG page hardly has a huge impact, but when millions of us are asking stupid questions or generating crap images, the damage is enormous.

So we're binning it and starting again.

The website, previous votes and election results remain intact. The democratic process remains sacred, even after the propaganda department has been canned.

This does mean the herring gull's three term reign is still legally binding.

Same birds.
Same shit opinions.
Less unnecessary AI bollocks.
