Well, I can’t quite believe I am actually writing this but I am REALLY BLOODY “PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE” (lol) that I’m going to be playing Diane in COME FROM AWAY on Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth. After years of auditioning, a hiatus from the business to be an agent, lots of life changes, including moving to London, deciding to try again, it feels like this is where I’m meant to be. And after all I actually AM an islander (Isle of Wight but y’know…) HUGE thanks to my lovely friends who are constantly behind me supporting me (you know who you are ❤️) and a big shout out to @stevenlewisagent at @palingandjenkins for taking a chance on me. @cunardline @wecomefromaway @royalcourttheatrecompany @annevosser by @birdymcbirdface

Sunday 10 May 8pm: Amy Bird 🎵Amy Bird @birdymcbirdface is a London based singer and a regular at the 606 with 'swamp soul' band The Coalminers (featuring on their EP “With You In Mind - a Tribute to Allen Toussaint”). From the Isle of Wight, Amy was born into a musical family and was singing with a ten-piece band at just sixteen years of age! From there, she joined New Bucks Fizz, touring arenas in the UK and Europe. During lockdown she started her own group to play deep cuts from well-known soul, funk, blues and Americana artists from Chaka Khan to The Doobie Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Isley Brothers and more. oined by four fantastic musicians, @mikeredfernguitarist Mike Redfern & Al Cherry-guitars, Dan Drury-bass & @reynoldsoscar Oscar Reynolds-drums this is a show filled with good vibes and great songs! ☀️ IBIZA ☀️ I’ve got to my ripe ol’ age and can you believe it - never actually done a beach holiday? This was a very special one. Will defo be returning back. An amazing double cookery class day at @enricaroccacookeryschool with my favourite foodie friend @spotlightiow learning Spanish pinxtos and paella and then absolutely loving the Italian cookery school straight after, where we learned how to make fresh pasta and other dirty stuff. (Slight knife mishap where I basically sliced through my nail but we shall ignore that lol #idiotsandwich #yeschef by @birdymcbirdface
