If you happen to see these two hooligans today please wish them a very happy birthday!! 6 years old! I went a little crazy during the pandemic and accumulated dogs. My pair of pugs, Herbert( black) and Dorothy (fawn), have given me endless love, comfort, hilarity, and companionship for which I am eternally grateful. They snore, snort, lick, scratch, steal, beg, and eat with gusto. They dote on each other and their brothers Max and Gus. They snuggle with me every night. They’ve never spent a minute away from each other and they are best friends. Happy birthday, pugs! Mommy loves you! Ice cream to celebrate! by @birgit.knutsen

Munich! Day 1. Arrived early Sunday. Visited Alte Pinakothek and it was like ART 100 all over again. So many masterpieces! Then walked to beer garden Augustiner Keller to enjoy the beautiful afternoon people watching. It’s spargel season so white asparagus with hollandaise sauce. by @birgit.knutsen

We clean up pretty well! Last night we had the pleasure of attending the wedding of dear friends @markdduckworth and @kristenmduckworth. Everything was gorgeous - the flowers, the church, the reception, and most of all, the bride. We enjoyed delicious food and fun with friends. I made my dress #vogue8997 view E in a metallic jacquard from @fabricmart. I made a trio of Dior Roses to decorate the shoulder. We saw @davidbyrneofficial last night in Nashville!! OUTSTANDING!! His #whoistheskytour is full of familiar Talking Heads favorites and newer music. The musicians aren’t tethered to any position so they and the dancers move around the stage. We loved @americanutopia and this show felt like a joyful continuation of that tour. What a marvelous time so far in San Francisco with my mother @knutskogen and favorite son @kinneyw and favorite daughter-in-law @davana.a.k ! This weekend has been perfect! We walked up the Marin Headlands to see the Golden Gate Bridge from up high, shopped the farmer’s market, dined at Zuni Cafe and Chez Panisse, rode in a Waymo, and feasted on Singaporean chili crab at Four Kings. #fourkingssanfrancisco #chezpanisse by @birgit.knutsen

I’m home from a fabulous Palmer/Pletsch jeans class! 5 days of pattern fitting, lessons, tips, tricks, and sewing my perfect jeans. I made mine from a charcoal wash stretch denim from @fabricmart with red topstitching. My pockets and waistband lining are a cute thimble print quilting cotton. I wanted mine to be ankle length because it’s almost always sandal season where I live. My shirt is @pamelaspatterns Woven tee with a scoop neck and lantern sleeves made from Liberty lawn. Palmer/Pletsch fit and sew workshops are so fun! I always come home with new friends, new clothes, and new skills.
