Today Lou would have turned 30. 🎂✨
How much her family and friends would have loved to celebrate this special birthday with her…
We’ve had to miss her for 7 years now, and yet she is present every single day in our thoughts and in our hearts.
I often wonder what her life would look like now… maybe graduated, starting a beautiful career or perhaps taking a sabbatical year to travel the world, maybe living together with someone, married, or even already a mom.
What is certain is that we still miss her deeply, and that she will always have a place in our lives and in our hearts. ❤️
Louke, how much I would love to hold you again, go for lunch together in the city, travel, just chill by the pool, enjoy long aperitifs with snacks of course haha, debate with you, email back and forth about your university assignments, go to the gym and hot yoga together 😉 and so on and so on.
Today we blow out the candles for you in our thoughts, Lou. 🎂✨
Not thirty here on earth, but forever young in our hearts.
We cherish what was, we dream of what could have been, and we carry your love with us in everything we do.
You are our missing link and at the same time our guiding light.

6 years ago, we had to say goodbye to you far too soon, sweet Lou.
It still feels unreal — your smile, your laughter, your light are missed
every single day. Your love left a mark that will never fade.
We miss you unimaginably much.I wake up thinking of you, and I go to sleep
thinking of you.

It’s impossible to accept that we’ll never see you again — we don’t want to
believe it, but sadly, it’s the painful and cruel reality.
