B.A in Political Science minor in Africana Studies
M.A. in Professional Communication

I create spaces where honesty can emerge and where deeply human and holy experiences can be explored without judgement.

Over the years, I’ve produced short films such as Dishes, An Almost Forgotten Lover, Jesus Freak, and more. I’ve curated experiences including the Harlem Renaissance Fashion Show, Noir Identity, the Human Threads Film Festival, King Suites LLC at USF. St.Petersburg, Taste of Cultures, Culture & Couture and other events that have received recognition and awards within the Tampa Bay community. I’ve worked for University of Tampa and University of South Florida, both places that I hold dearly to my heart as a full-time professional educator.

I’m the founder of Human Threads Film Festival and Foolish Things… communities built on storytelling, creativity, connection, and purpose.

In this season, I’m diving deeper into human development, learning experience design, and community building, exploring how intentional spaces and storytelling can create lasting impact. I’m fascinated by what happens when faith, creativity, education, and human flourishing intersect.

But who am I now?… or who have I always been?

I’m a bridge.

A bridge between people and opportunities.
Between collaboration and impact.
Between vision and execution.
Between ideas and meaningful experiences.

At the heart of everything I do is servanthood. It is the drumbeat beneath every project, conversation, and dream. My greatest joy is helping others build, create, heal, and become.

Today was soooo amazing! 🥹💗🎀

Thank you so, so, SO much to @naveszn for putting this together! Being in a room full of girlies who love God AND love creating was so refreshing. Spaces like this are so needed! 🫂💕

I felt so girly, so cute, got to create so much content, and genuinely just enjoyed myself!

ANDDDD I got to meet @itstaylented !! 🥹💕 She is literally such a ray of sunshine! Y’all PLEASE go listen to her music because the song playing in this reel is HERS!!! I just found out about her and her music speaks to my soullllll!!!! So incredibly talented. Keep shining, girl! ✨

Tonight beyond exceeded my expectations of what I thought I was walking into. 🥹

It was so beautiful to witness a film that brought love and dance together in such an intentional way. You could feel the heart, time, care, and dedication that went into telling this story, and everyone involved did such an amazing job bringing it to life.

I’m genuinely honored that I got to be in the room to witness what I believe will be one of many films and premieres to come. Grateful I got to show up, support, and witness the art of love. ❤️

I left incredibly impacted and, more than anything, inspired. So, so inspired.

Maybe you’re not lacking discipline. Maybe you’re afraid of what happens when your life actually starts changing.

Sometimes we return to what’s familiar… even when the familiar is unhealthy, because at least we know what to expect.

But fear doesn’t get to decide your future.

When you recognize the lie, you can replace it with truth, give yourself grace when you stumble, and keep moving forward.

You don’t have to keep choosing what’s familiar. You can choose what’s flourishing. 🌱

One of the best lessons I’ve learned through therapy and adulthood:

My discipline will only be as strong and consistent as the way I see myself.

The way we talk to ourselves matters. The way we value ourselves matters. And sometimes, building discipline starts with rebuilding the relationship we have with ourselves.

So while you’re working on becoming more disciplined, work on those affirmations too. 🤎

Remind yourself: I am worth showing up for. I am worth caring for. I am worth keeping promises to.

Because discipline hits different when it comes from self-respect instead of self-punishment.

Coming to this realization in my own life has been… vulnerable.

It honestly ripped up a lot of the foundation I thought I was building myself on.

It made me start asking harder questions:

Why do I do what I do?
What am I really looking for?
What am I trusting?
And when everything falls apart, what—or rather, WHO—am I looking for to hold me?

Discipline has become so much more than “trying harder” for me.

It’s made me look at my relationship with God, my patterns, my identity, my environment, and even the way my brain works.

So over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some of what I’ve been learning about discipline—beyond motivation and willpower, including how it connects to the neurodivergent brain, identity, trauma, and the things we allow to shape our lives.

And maybe some of what I’m uncovering will make you ask a few deeper questions about yourself too.
