There was something so serene and deeply peaceful about this day with Mary at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Maryland. 🕊️

The quietness of the church, the Rosary procession, the presence of Jesus in Benediction, the Holy Mass, and the prayers offered for reparation for our beloved Nigeria created such a beautiful atmosphere of peace and reflection. It was one of those moments where you could truly slow down, pray, and place everything in God’s hands.

Among the many things I prayed for were peace, good leadership, unity, and safe elections for Nigeria. 🇳🇬 May God heal our land, guide our leaders, protect our people, and grant us the wisdom and courage to do our part.

Because prayer and action must go together: pray as if everything depends on God, and work as if everything depends on you.

Let us keep praying. Let us keep working. Let us keep believing.

A new Nigeria is POssible. 🇳🇬

May God bless Nigeria. 🙏🏽 taken in St. Agnes Catholic Church, Maryland by @bishop_stanislaus

I had the opportunity to attend this insightful media roundtable organised by @pau_nigeria and @lbsnigeria, and it was an amazing learning experience.

The keynote was delivered by Temitayo Fagbule, Bureau Chief, West Africa at CNBC Africa, with an insightful panel moderated by Dr. Margareth Oforboche Agada-Mba, featuring @reaspeaks1 Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan of @newscentraltv, @morudesmond of @pau_nigeria, @childofdkingdom of @thepunchnewspaper and @waleolajubu .

One major takeaway: journalism must go beyond the byline. In an era where AI can produce content at incredible speed, journalists need to focus on what makes human journalism valuable: original reporting, trust, lived experiences, creativity and strong storytelling.

A big thank you to @thecjid CJID for the practical session on DubawaAI and how AI can support journalists with transcription, verification and fact-checking.

The industry is changing, and there’s so much to learn. ✍🏽
