Kuch ni bacha ab....🎀👀
Tamasha

CBFC: U/A 2015 Romance/Drama 2h

14m

Synopsis

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Tamasha follows Ved Vardhan Sahni, a man who has spent years living according to expectations rather than his own dreams.

During a trip to Corsica, Ved meets Tara Maheshwari. They decide to create a temporary world where they can be completely themselves, without revealing their real identities or carrying the expectations of their lives back home.

Years later, they meet again in India, but the carefree Ved Tara remembers has disappeared. He has returned to a life shaped by routine, responsibility, and the version of himself society expects him to be.

As Tara struggles to accept the change in him, Ved begins confronting the part of himself he buried long ago-the storyteller, performer, and dreamer he was always meant to become. At its core, Tamasha is not simply a love story. It is a story about identity, self-discovery, societal expectations, and the courage to choose the life that truly belongs to you.
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone bring Ved and Tara's complicated relationship to life, while A.R. Rahman's music and Imtiaz Ali's visual storytelling give the film its distinctive emotional and philosophical soul.

Tamasha asks a simple but powerful question: Are you living your own story, or the one someone else wrote for you?
