I’ve been reflecting on what an honor it was to be a part of this production. An adventure unlike any other! I still feel deep gratitude to this incredible cast and our wonderful crew and creative team for bringing this awesome piece of theatre to life with such bright, brilliant, and heartfelt light! (And for letting me be a part of it). I do and will always remember this experience so fondly. I can never ask for a better team of storytellers at Greenville Theatre.

I’m so grateful for my time with all of these incredible and talented sea creatures down in Bikini Bottom! A dream show and a dream role that I feel so fortunate to have been a part of. And what a joy to be back with the theatre I grew up at! It doesn’t get any better than that. I will carry this experience with me for the longest time! 🩵 Thank you to all of the amazing artists involved with this once in a lifetime production! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

“Sometimes people leave you, halfway through the Woods. Do not let it grieve you, no one leaves for good.”

Yesterday we closed a very very special production. I almost don’t even have the words. After so many years of doing show after show, back to back, they almost all begin to blur together. But this one stands out, clear and bright. I will carry this experience with me closely for a long time. I had the most incredible time journeying through the woods with such immensely talented friends and artists and I would do it all again in a heartbeat! Thank you to our amazing director Max Quinlan, our fairy godmother of an assistant director Aimee Quattlebaum, our brilliant music director Julie FLorin, our dream of a stage management team Emma Baum & Julia Orr, our genius set designer Rick Connor, our dedicated lighting designer Cory Ryan Granner, our unbelievable sound designer Matthew Polowczuk, and of course our dream costume department Thomas Brooks, Adam Martin, & Adell Ehrhorn - WOW, the work you all did for this show was spectacular and I am so grateful. To my incredible cast mates and our amazing crew, I simply cannot thank you enough. Your dedication, talent, and commitment has blown me away. I am humbled to share the stage with such gifted and powerful storytellers, who challenge me to be a better storyteller too. This is has been one of my most favorite theatrical experiences in my life. I can’t wait to meet you all in the woods someday soon once again 🤍

“I have lived in the darkness for so long,
I am waiting for the light to shine.”

Yesterday afternoon, we closed what was one of the best experiences on stage I have ever had. I am so overcome with gratitude to have had the opportunity to tell this important story, to go on Huck Finn’s journey, to work with this incredible team, and to be a part of this theatrical community.

Thank you @maxtime98 for believing in me and trusting me with this character. For supporting me and being in my corner always. For guiding me and our team with your light so that we could find ours. I am not the same artist and person walking out of this as I was walking into it.

Thank you Victoria Adams for pushing me vocally and caring for my heart as I dove into this challenge. Thank you @carolinaboysclub for bringing these musical numbers to life through our physicality and choreography. We found the world we lived in through you both.

Thank you @guillermocanta for being my partner on stage, the Jim to my Huck, and for allowing me to connect and create with you. It’s been an honor and hopefully just the beginning for us.

2022 on stage! I spent more time on stage this year than ever before and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m very grateful and fortunate to be able to be a part of such a vibrant, creative, challenging, and loving artistic community here. I’m so thankful for every chance I get to perform, learn, grow, and connect with such talented, kind, beautiful humans and to be afforded the opportunity to tell stories, in any way, shape, or form. I hope life is like this always. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their vision, created on stage with me, and came to see us perform. We are so lucky 🤍
