A brand can’t manufacture community. It can only create the conditions for one to grow.

Ashanti understood that from the very beginning.

@eastatlclay was never just her vision for a pottery studio. It was a space she wanted to build for and with the people around her; a place to slow down, experiment, and leave with new friendships. Before there was even a physical space, she was already bringing people into the journey.

We carried that same collaborative spirit into the branding process. Working closely with @atribecalledashanti, we translated her stories and experiences into a visual world that feels playful, tactile, and open.

The result is a brand that belongs to the people of Atlanta as much as it belongs to its founder. by @bitemark.studio

After a successful Kickstarter validated East Atlanta Clay’s idea for a community ceramic & art studio, founder Ashanti approached us to build a brand that could carry that momentum into something lasting.

The challenge was creating an identity that felt genuinely welcoming across ages, backgrounds and experience levels without becoming generic. So we built the brand around the one thing that transcends them all: play.

What a pleasure it’s been, @eastatlclay

Your strategy partner at Bitemark. Life-long creative with a business degree. Collector of old artefacts. Identical twin with a deep interest in perception.

That’s me, Martha, founder of Bitemark.

I’m always directly involved in every project, so let’s take it from here 🐆 by @bitemark.studio

Meet the newest version of bitemark.studio

Over the last year or two, we did some of our most exciting work—and thinking.

The old site captured our playful side well. But it didn’t fully reflect how we approach branding today.

Behind every project is a lot of digging.

We look for patterns, follow threads, connect seemingly unrelated ideas, and find the story beneath the surface. That’s the part of branding we love most.

This redesign brings that side of Bitemark into sharper focus.

The creative direction now sits closer to what truly inspires us: culture, symbolism, history, and curiosity.

It’s still playful at heart. Still a little unusual. But more considered now.

We continue to partner with brands who care about what they’re building, and want to make their difference visible. That increasingly includes brands that don’t just live on screens, but on shelves, in spaces, and in people’s hands too.

Got a good idea that needs to land properly? Let’s talk.

Making the invisible visible... that’s how we often describe what we do. Because every brand has a soul. It just hasn’t always surfaced before we step in, not to the world and oftentimes not even fully to the founders.

Here’s 12 logos we designed to do a lot of the talking, in just one symbol. Logofolio: a collection of 12 individual logo marks and representative brand symbols. by @bitemark.studio

Most of us don’t know what grows in our own backyards, let alone which plants can heal us. One Irish woman is reclaiming the lost wisdom.

But Yarrow Lane Herbs founder Laura knew her online presence wasn’t living up to who she is or what she has to offer.

“Meet me in person, and you’ll sign up for my course or buy my [monthly herbal subscription] box. Meet me online, and you’ll skip right over me”.

The brand needed to mirror the founder’s personality but also stand as a credible business in its own right.

So we built a full visual identity that does just that: a world that celebrates freedom, rebellion and a return to nature’s wild, magical messiness. Unmistakably Laura’s. Phone with an Instagram graphic, lying in a field of flowers by @bitemark.studio

When Laura from Yarrow Lane Herbs approached us, it was to get help customising the website template she’d bought from us.

But after digging deeper, we realised the template wasn’t the problem. As Laura put it, the platform was “pretty easy.” The real difficulty was choice paralysis. She’d spent four days trying to “pick a shade of green for the smallest freaking button on the page.”

Yarrow Lane Herbs needed a visual identity before it could have a personalised website.

Five days later, with a clear visual language in hand, Laura went on to customise the website largely on her own. Proof that the overwhelm really was just down to a lack of branding. Once that was solved, everything else followed. by @bitemark.studio

An ode to relinquishing control, delegating and the only person I’d trust with my branding @bitemark.studio 🫀

After a year of Corner Booth, over-saturating my brain with typeface and a year of wanting to burn everything I created for it to the ground, I know my fellow creatives will understand. I decided to stop sweating something i couldn’t (in my mind) perfect. After an intensive and months of being internet friends, Martha nailed my vision and was truly an inspiration of how to balance artistry and organization. 🤞

Can’t wait to show y’all what 2026 has in store for the corner booth 🍸 by @bitemark.studio

With the progressing digitalisation of our lives, moments away from the screen are becoming increasingly rare, but books provide an easy escape.

They mean comfort, a welcomed change, a return to simpler times. It’s the sensory experience of physical books that has stopped their cheaper and more eco-friendly digital counterparts from taking over.

It got us thinking… how can we amp up the reading experience for everyone? 📓🪲

Hommage (a concept brand) is our answer to this question.

We focused on creating a tangible yet modern feel that would honour the nostalgic value of print books while making reading more enjoyable for the younger, digital-driven demographic.

How do you visually communicate a social media manager’s powerful mission of promoting wealth distribution, decolonisation, and social justice through the work she does?

That was the challenge we took on when Kiarra Soleil approached us.

The goal:
Represent her strong beliefs while conveying her personal vibe to connect with the movers and shakers in the online space (real peeps who want to make a real change).

The solution:
We drew inspiration from Kiarra’s fascination with vintage magazines, movies, pop culture, fashion, and history, landing on a direction that channels the iconic energy of the 60s feminist movement.
