I’ve not stopped thinking about my latest brunch from @unclewolfies!!! Found this beauty on the sandwich menu, the Latke Waffle Chop Cheese with sliced pastrami, caramelized onions, Muenster cheese and “fancy sauce”, served with the best fries. Speaking of fries >> swipe to see the humongous plate of Loaded Fries served with a sunny side up egg on top! 🍳🍟 Uncle Wolfies never ever disappoints, especially when the wait isn’t too long. The beauty of Milwaukee is that you can simply never run out of new Mexican restaurants to visit! 🇲🇽❤️

Major 🚨 alert to check out Ventura’s Taco restaurant on KK in Bay View. 🌮

Cute patio, reasonable prices, delicious margaritas (many jalapeño cucumber margs for the table), and quickly prepared delicious food!

Enchiladas with mole sauce were incredible, and the “American” tacos (+ sour cream & cheese) were drool worthy.

A classic evening at @balzacmke ❤️‍🔥Nothing lights up that dark moody room quite like some delicious small plates and carafes of rose sangria.

Little lunch visit to @camino_west_allis for the ‘Bama fried chicken sandwich on that buttery brioche bun. Camino is consistent and delicious, and the West Allis location served up nothing less. Quite a bit more space than the Walkers Point location & still the same great tasting pierogis and brussel sprouts! Still one of my favorite places to take out of towners for a casual meal.

In other news, last night we held a fast food fried chicken sandwich tasting competition. 6 local fast food chains competed for the grand prize of being deemed the winner. Rated upon visual appearance, chicken quality, and overall sandwich appeal, Popeyes was the clear winner, with Shake Shake surprisingly a close second. Unfortunately Wendy’s has some work to do. Of course, if there was a fried chicken sandwich competition among local Milwaukee establishments, Popeyes may be put to shame. 😆 taken in Camino West Allis by @biteoflife_mke

2023 has proved to be about trying lots of new places. None of them were as literally jaw-dropping as walking inside @lebnanihouse! Swipe to the last pic to see the show stopper in the center of the room 💁🏻‍♀️ Here is the lowdown on what I enjoyed:
- FRESHLY squeezed mint lemonade
- Hummus trio (you’ll leave with plenty of leftovers!)
- Chicken shawarma skewer
- Chicken livers (😳) - really well marinated and tasty but still very out of my comfort zone
- Batata Harra (the fried potatoes - DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE)
- and about 400 house pitas for dipping and stuffing

If you’re a fan of Mediterranean food and open to trying new places - get to Lebnani House. Stay tuned for the beautiful summer patio! 😎🍹

Switch up your morning coffee routine and check out @bradystbid newest establishment - @sjbraziliancafe ☕️🇧🇷 I always loved Brewed, so I’m really happy to see another coffee shop go into this space. It’s the first Brazilian coffee shop in Milwaukee to my knowledge, so it was fun to see some unusual menu items, including my favorite cheese bread Pão de queijo.

Sweet Joy also had plenty of tradition cafe baked goods and menu items, which all looked incredible. Swipe for the coffee menu - I got a hazelnut latte macchiato. 😉

Also couldn’t believe the vibes compared to the last tenant. Amazing how a little 💡 & 🎨 can transform a space into something new.

Had @jins_sushiseafoodbar on my list of places to visit for a while, based on follower recommendations and hardcore reading the MKE Foodie Facebook groups. 🤓 Completely forgot upon arrival why this place was so highly recommended - All You Can Eat Sushi! Let me tell you, the place was packed. We had a short (but worthy) wait, and learned the menu operations. For $27.99 you can scarf down all the sushi, apps and dessert your heart desires, plus add on some additional speciality seafood platters. 🦞 The atmosphere is nice with great service and endless possibilities of fresh 🍣 to come your way. Next time I’ll go in with a strategy of no apps to focus more on the main event, but wow it was great! ✨ taken in Jin's Sushi Seafood & Bar by @biteoflife_mke
