7 MINUTE SHISHITO PEPPERS!!! 🌶️ The perfect appetizer or side dish to whip up when you’re looking for minimal effort lol. The good thing is once you have these ingredients, you will have them for a long time and the shishito peppers will be the only grocery you’ll need to repurchase! 😉

I tend to measure with the heart on most of these ingredients but I will give some rough measurements! 🤞🏼The beauty of cooking is you can make it completely your own so feel free to taste your sauce throughout to make sure it’s to your liking! 💗

All you will need is:
1. Shishito peppers
2. 4 tbsp soy sauce
3. Splash of rice wine vinegar (1 tsp)
4. 2 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to your own spice level)
5. 3 cloves of garlic
6. 1/4 tsp white pepper
7. 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
8. 1.5 tbsp honey
9. Bonus if you have sesame oil! (Just a splash)

RECIPE:
1. Heat up a pan over medium/high heat
2. Toss your shishito peppers with cooking oil of your choice (about 1tbsp)
3. In a small bowl mix together soy sauce, a splash of rice wine vinegar, sriracha, minced garlic, white pepper, sesame seeds, splash of sesame oil, and honey.
4. Once your pan has heated, add the shishito peppers and let them blister for 2 minutes. Flip them & let them cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Once the peppers are blistered and have some brown to them, turn the heat to low and let the pan cool down for 1 minute.
6. Mix in your sauce, stirring frequently until the sauce starts to turn to a glaze.
7. After about 2 minutes transfer peppers to a bowl making sure to get all of that sauce into the bowl with the peppers.
8. Sprinkle with more sesame seeds & ENJOY! 😋 by @bites.bybailey
