Hello friends!! Here to announce my presence at the @memrenfaire by showing these lovely photos by the amazing studio @cheersphotoco who set up an incredible booth and had tons of fun with us tonight. I'm so truly grateful for the organizers as well as the photographers for giving me the opportunity to live my dreams as a cast member to a Ren Faire.

Here is a bit more about Sprout !

Sprout is a Tennessee based cosplayer who has been cosplaying and competing since 2018 and uses their love of fantasy anime and games to drive their passions. Her favorite aspects of creating her cosplays are wig styling and creating accessories for outfits that can always use extra flair. But nothing makes them more happy than to share a community and build the confidence of those around them. "Ad astra per aspera" to the stars and through hardships. The amount of times I have looked at the things I've created throughout my life and questioned "why do I keep going?" I told myself in 2026 I would not attend any new cons or make any new cosplays so I could focus primarily on things like work and school and finding myself again. But in that, I found that I actually lost a lot of myself, restricting myself to be nothing more than a workhorse. But every time I attended a con and met friends, I got that taste of community I wanted so badly and just couldn't stay away.

I took feedback from past judges on this cosplay and instead of feeling sore and defeated about it, I stepped up close to find the areas to improve and while working through these improvements found inspiration from peers to bring the entire outfit to the next level. And that proved to me that I can really do everything, even with a limited space and with limited funding. Today I proved to myself I was worth the time, when I was bumped from journeyman to masters and won. I tackled tasks and skills that terrified me, that even me from a year ago would refuse to even attempt. I have never done a helmet wig before, I had never done drill curls before this. I had never put over 1,000 pearls onto anything. But it was so worth it.

I can only hope to keep reaching to learn new skills in my future, and continue to learn from my peers.
