Seventeen years ago I met this beautiful, talented woman with a gorgeous smile at a callback for 42nd Street and I thought ‘wow- if she’s in the show I want to be in it too’. We both got cast as Peggy & Lorraine and the show was such a hit that the @rosecentertheater did an encore of it that same year with almost the same cast! By our second round we were in a relationship, and on December 31st 2017 we got married (& celebrated the new year) on the very stage where we met.

Fast forward to Dec 30th 2025, the eve of our 8th wedding anniversary, when I got to reunite with the Rose Center stage & community again for a one-night concert. We performed ‘Go Into Your Dance’ (with a new group of ladies- 3 generations of tap dancers!) and I can’t believe that’s the same tempo baby bitty did in 2009 😂👵🏼 So fun! Thanks for inviting me @swedishtnt

One more milestone- @iamgretchendawson and I have been alcohol free for over a year 🎊 by @bittygotgram

Ode to Joy!

What started as a funny ‘double-dare-you’ idea from my wife @iamgretchendawson to boost my *special skillz* became a full-out new venture! I’m still figuring this thing out, but while I do I wanna give a big thanks to director/teacher extraordinaire @swedishtnt and my mom/former accordion prodigy @cindysueoriginalsus for access to this exciting new instrument!

Oh- and thank you @thedanieldawson for arriving home at the perfect time 🤣🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

What a fun whirlwind of giggles this was!

I had an absolute blast working w these folks on a Kander & Ebb show that never gets done called ‘Woman of the Year’. It was presented as a one-night-only concert version of the musical at the Eli & Edythe Broad Stage to raise money for ShowSearch! ShowSearch is a juried competition for short, new musicals by HS & college students w the purpose of discovering and supporting new musical theatre talent.
