One of the Top CB's in the NFL, Emmanuel Forbes Jr, w/ an awesome play here on 3rd down last night!

Before the snap, on 3rd & 1, he gives a press look. With motion away from him, he gets back in an "Off Man" look, giving Sam Darnold the illusion that the easy access throw is open. Forbes does a great job of scooching and playing hard on the route expecting it to be short, then getting the 3rd down stop PBU!! 🌍🔥

5 Minute Fundamental DB Work: Finishing Skills 🌍

- First starting in place for muscle memory. Finding the farthest wrist and violently raking it down to give ourselves the best shot at dislodging the football ✅

- Then get moving pictures to simulate real body positioning alongside with finishing on the hands properly ✅

▫️Deep Ball Over the Shoulder
▫️Back Shoulder

▫️Finishing Skills
▫️Rake The Wrist
▫️Take The WR To The Ground

WR's are much more concerned with protecting themselves going down to the ground after a play, we as DB's increase our chance of dislodging ball!

Jalen Ramsey does a great job here of first disguising the designed blitz. With immediate sprint out away from him, what helps him is his ANGLE!! Squeezing the back hip of the Guard/Tackle and running the banana. Making his aiming point on a SPILL PATH where he goes UNDER the QB, knowing he has contain rush outside of him! 🌍🔥
