🇬🇧 To share more of my adventures, the behind-the-scenes moments from my bivouacs and the preparation that goes into my expeditions, I’m now bringing everything together on my personal account @davidtheoexplore.

Gladiator, gravel and whatever comes next: follow me there. That’s where the heart of this project now lives.

By bike. By 4x4. And beyond.

🇬🇧 Marauder-1 strikes a pose, somewhere between earth and wind.

FIELD NOTE 001

Kids don’t remember miles.
They remember marshmallows.

I sometimes catch myself thinking about routes, campsites and gear.

They remember the sticky fingers.
The burnt marshmallows.
The laughter around a tiny fire.

Maybe that’s what adventure was about all along.

LOOK BEYOND.

Adventure isn’t the destination.
It’s what happens when you decide to slow down.

Look beyond. by @bivouacandbeyond

People see the gear.

They rarely see the journey.

This Jeep.
This backpack.
Those worn-out brass cases.

They’re just objects.

What they don’t show are the thousands of kilometers, the mistakes, the lessons, the mornings that started before sunrise, and the evenings when you wondered if it was worth continuing.

Freedom isn’t something you buy.

It’s something you build.
One decision.
One adventure.
One step at a time.

Still chasing freedom.

Some places aren’t meant to be seen…
they’re meant to be driven.
