Some weddings are special because of the design. Some are special because of the people. And some weddings are both.Angel + Kyle’s wedding at Christianson’s Nursery in Mount Vernon, Washington was one of those weddings.Angel is the niece of our dear friend Jaimie, owner of Ridgewood Films, which made this celebration especially meaningful for us. We had the privilege of watching this day come together over many months, and from the beginning, Angel had a clear vision for how she wanted the wedding to feel: romantic, charming, collected, and deeply personal. Inspired by the world of Pride and Prejudice, we leaned into a vintage garden aesthetic that felt right at home among the nursery’s winding paths, blooming gardens, and historic buildings.Using soft dusty purples, muted pinks, blues, greens, touches of butter yellow, and hints of peach, we created a colorstory that felt romantic, tender, and full of character.
