I never thought I would have to make this post so soon.•••This past Saturday, April 29th, 2023, my dad passed away. Never in a million years did I think this would happen the way it did. I'm still in shock and disbelief, and I wish this never happened, but alas, I can't do anything about it.••He was a great man and an even better father. He always did everything he could to take me to the next level. He worked 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts, and drove an hour to and from work to then sit and watch us at practice. It always impressed me how knowledgeable he was with everything I do even though he never once stepped on a mat. His rest days were the weekends, yet he would still take me in so i could get that little bit of extra training.I guess that just shows how much he truly loved me.••To everyone who read the entirety of this, I have one thing to say. Please enjoy every second you spend with your parents. I thought I would have plenty of time to spend with my dad, but life had other plans.•I swear to you, dad, i dont care if it's the last thing I do. I will accomplish that dream of being a world champion.I love you dad❤️ by @bjj__roman

🟦🟦🟦⬛️⬛️🟦••After nine years of jiu jitsu, and countless tournaments, I’ve finally hit this big milestone. I’m extremely grateful to receive my blue belt from my coach @joedaddystevenson1982 , and to have an amazing and supportive team who pushes me and motivate me every single day. •As one chapter of my life ends I’m excited for a new chapter to start, and I can’t wait to display everything I’ve been working on. 2023 National Champ!••Yesterday, I competed at @teamusmma national championships and became a 2x national champ. I had two fights, and I won the first by submission via Kimura, and the second by disqualification via getting slammed twice (once on my head).••I wanna congratulate all my teammates on their performances. You all did great, and I'm very proud of you guys. I would like to thank my coaches for coaching me and helping me prepare for this. 3 Different brackets yesterday at @adcc_official ended up going 8-2.
