We’re bringing Pete “The Greek” Letsos to Memento Combat Sports for a wrist lock seminar on Saturday, February 7th from 10am–12pm.

Pete isn’t known for gimmicks or cheap tricks.
He’s known for precision, control, and a deep mastery of wrist locks that shows up at the highest levels of jiu jitsu.

Great Heroes JJ class today where we worked on some standup with some Judo foot sweeps. We worked passing the guard from headquarters. Lastly we worked on how to attack from and escape Judo side control.

10 am class in the Gi, Professor Dan and Professor Joe shared some details from standing into a butterfly ashi takedown and sweep. Then we worked from closed guard with details about breaking grips, attacks from a high shoulder clamp. Great stuff.

Last week I was in California so Professor Dan covered for me which is the second pic. Thanks Professor.

Great Heroes JJ class today where we worked on gift wrap from closed guard leading to sweeps (pendulum and half butterfly) and back takes. Professor Dan showed some killer details with the back take variations.

10 am class in the Gi, Professors Dan expanded on the concept of gift wrap from guard including a slick setup with a bump sweep threat to the gift wrap and back take.

Great Heroes JJ class today where we worked on some stand up. We worked the snap down into turtle breakdowns.

10 am class was great with Professors Dan. We worked on some defense to the guard pull and later some single leg x sweep variations.

It was great seeing Professor Joe on the mats too and had some killer training with him.

Kevin got promoted to purple belt as well. It was a great day.

Great Heroes JJ class today where we worked on d’arce, anaconda and a choke I’ve been working on which is a mix of d’arce/canto/paper cutter.

10 am class was great with Professors Dan. He showed some great details on the Canto choke and Choi bar.

Kevin also got his 4th stripe on his blue belt after the 10 am class. He was in the shower during the lineup so Professor Dan caught him before he left.
