An elderly woman called 911 over a dog dispute…

But then she ignored the dispatcher, walked over to her neighbor’s house, got in her face, and allegedly hit her first.

Now the internet is arguing because she ended up on the ground.

But here’s the real question:

Does being elderly mean someone gets to put hands on you without consequences?

In Texas, self-defense doesn’t disappear because the other person is older.

If someone hits you first, you have the right to protect yourself with reasonable force.

The dog issue may have been a civil claim.

But the moment she threw the first punch, the whole situation changed.

Class number 9.

This swimmer is new to our program. Before joining us, he had taken swim lessons elsewhere, but he didn’t have the skills needed to save himself in an emergency.

Look at him now.

Today, his emotions were calmer. He knew exactly what was expected, and for the first time, he completed every skill at least once without tears.

That’s what real progress looks like.

Confidence isn’t built by avoiding hard moments—it’s built by working through them. Lesson by lesson, he’s replacing uncertainty with skill and fear with confidence.

The safety test is right around the corner, and he’s showing us he’s almost ready.
