Today I attended the KDHE Open House at the Carl G. Brewer Community Center regarding the next steps for 29th and Grove.

I've said all along that until those extraction wells are in place, that the true clean up of the toxic chemicals had not begun.

Today moves one step closer to that. by @bjohnsonict

Today I had the honor to receive this recognition as a Friend of Labor for my support during my time in office.

This was when I was Vice Mayor of Wichita.

Unfortunately, during that time we still had COVID restrictions so we didn't have the event.

I am grateful to recieve this today and to always support our union brothers and sisters! by @bjohnsonict

***POLITICAL MISLEADING MAILER***

To the voters of the 83rd District, as many of you know I have publicly endorsed State Representative Henry Helgerson who is running for re-election.

At no time have I authorized my image or likeness to be used by any other campaign or candidate for campaign purposes.

It's unfortunate that many of you recieved this mailer with multiple images of me and citations of the work I led for political purposes, but these are the types of games being played.

If there was any doubt or question on who I support, it is Rep Henry Helgerson for Kansas. Anyone else using my image or likeness for political purposes is misleading you to believe my support is elsewhere.

These are the political games that disgust most Wichitans and should be stopped.

Tuesday, I hope you join me in voting for Henry Helgerson.

Today I had a chance to attend the retirement celebration for Wichita Fire Chief, Tammy Snow. She is our first female Fire Chief!

I enjoyed working with her when I was on the City Council and am glad my successor, Council Member Joseph W. Shepard was able to work with her as well.

I promise we weren't trying to match 😂

Happy Retirement, Chief Snow! by @bjohnsonict

Hey everyone, I am former Council Member Brandon Johnson.

During my tenure on the Wichita City Council we had a number of challenges we faced.

Quite a few of those challenges required partnership with our elected colleagues in the legislature.

Unfortunately, since 2022, House District 84 has lacked true representation and this is an opportunity to change that.

We need someone who understands that you need to be able to speak plainly to issues but also that collaboration is key to moving our agenda forward.

We need someone who actually lives in the community that they seek to represent and can deliver for the district.

For those reasons, and a lot more, I am fully supporting Bonita Gooch for Kansas House District 84 and I want to encourage you to vote for her on August 4th!

Exciting news! ✨

I am happy to share that I am joining the great folks at @meritrustcu as their new Business Development Officer right here in Wichita!

I am incredibly looking forward to joining their team, collaborating with fantastic colleagues, and finding new ways to drive value and connection across our community. by @bjohnsonict

I recently had the honor of giving the commencement speech at the graduation of the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center 358th Class.

It's always an honor to speak to graduates in law enforcement and a true honor to continue serving as the Chairman of the Kansas Commission of Peace Office Standards and Training (KSCPOST).
