I wasn’t even going to respond to this, but I couldn’t let the disrespect slide.

I called Thorn Hurt to let him know one of our childhood friends had passed away. He didn’t answer or return my call. I reacted out of anger, and I own that. A week later, he finally responded by taking a shot at my past instead of showing any respect for the situation.

For anyone who really knows our history, you know who stood on business and who didn’t. I’m not interested in rewriting history or proving anything to anyone. The people who were there already know.

He tried to use my past mental health struggles against me. Yes, I went through difficult times. I sought help, put in the work, went back to school, and today I’m a union carpenter. I’m not perfect, but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made and I’ll never be ashamed of getting my life together.

For years I’ve stayed quiet while people talked about me. Today, I chose to speak for myself. If anyone thinks disrespecting me or my journey somehow elevates them, they’re mistaken.

I’m focused on building my future, protecting my peace, and continuing to level up. The rest can keep talking if they want. My actions and my growth will always speak louder than anyone else’s words. This Guy, nerves🤫 by @bk18793
