Single strain series

Only Terps CO
X
NY’s BK Broiler

With some amazing single strain marmalade, via the west coast Only Terps, there was excitement in the air as we knew this sweet treat would shine. Paired with our blueberry cheesecake, this is a top ten. Don’t sleep on this one.

Comedy is art, and I’ve always had nothing but respect for the people who dedicate their lives to making us laugh. Over the past few years I’ve been lucky enough to call some of these incredibly talented comedians friends, so this series is my small tribute to their craft—and to the mutual appreciation we’ve built between comedy and caramel. by @bkbroilers_caramels

Ticket stub memory #7

NLCS 2000 — Shea Stadium — The Pennant Night

I was working in NYC at Yahoo!.

At 4:30pm, I get a call from my old friend Chris Urcioli who had corporate tickets and asked if I wanted to come.

Though a Yankees fan from day one, this was history sitting right there… and I jumped on the train and met Chris.

When the Mets clinched and were going to the World Series…

People were stomping the ground so hard I thought the stadium was going to collapse.

Not exaggerating — it was shaking.

It was the first time the Mets were going to the World Series since ’86.

They went on to lose to the Yankees… but that night didn’t need anything else.
