Every time I step up to that mic, I’m not performing, I’m contending. For the culture. For the Kingdom. For every soul in that crowd who came looking for something they couldn’t name but God already had waiting for them.

I don’t do this for the streams or the stages. I do this because He told me to go and I went.

Dear Husband, Happy Fathers day ❤️

God told me about you before we ever connected, that you'd be both African and American. And there you were, in Little Africa, LA, exactly where He said love would be waiting.

Wherever the journey takes us, I want us to go there hand in hand.

There are things in life I'm not always clear about but what I know for sure is:

You are the one I want to be with.

You are the father I always dreamed of having growing up — the one I never had, and the one our children get to call theirs every single day. You are more than I could have asked for, and everything I prayed for.

This is the relationship I want to be in.
This is the love I want to last forever.

In 2022, I became a first-time mom. To my gracious daughter, Teniyah.

She permanently changed my life for the better ,she’s helped me mature, and shown me what obedience truly looks like.

As she grows, I grow with her. Day by day, releasing what the world tries to mold mothers into, and humbling myself to become Madame Proverbs 31 submitted under the hand of God.

Oh, how the Lord loves you, baby girl.

I am so grateful to be your mommy…
