Holding your hand as I watched you take your last breath on December 4, 2022 at exactly 3 am was something I never thought I would experience in my life. It took me a whole year to even find the words to say and honestly I still can’t find them. Lord knows I still have so much pain and hurt inside of me that will probably never go away. Not being able to hear your voice or physical touch eats me alive. I wish that I could have done some things differently. Watching you suffer was the hardest thing for me to deal with. Knowing that you are not suffering anymore eases some of the pain, but the selfish side of me wish you were still here so I could tell you how much I love you and what you meant to me. You were always there for me through thick and thin. You were always a phone call away and I miss not being able to call and just vent about life to you. It’s been very hard for me not having you here with me. It still doesn’t feel real at times but I know you are watching over me. I still can feel your presence over me at times. Continue to watch over me as I go through this life journey. I promise I will continue to make you proud of me. There aren’t any words to describe how much I miss and love you. Holidays will never be the same, we are still trying to process it all. All we are left with are memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you for being the best Aunt a nephew could ever ask for. I will forever hold you tight in my heart and soul until we meet again. We love and miss you down here. Happy Heavenly Birthday Aunt Glenda. Get your rest. I love you!!! 🙏🏽❤️🤞🏽 by @bking_32
