Our next live stream with @rhythmrails will be airing this Tuesday, 11/03, 7 - 10. For this episode, we’re back at it with UKG, and we’re having on 3 very special people to the BK Loves UKG family: @sasharomemusic , @jessnellrob , @gigi_rio_ .

Over the past couple of years, @sasharomemusic has become an indelible part of the crew. Together we’ve thrown parties and he’s become one of the core members of our label, BK Loves Recs. A fantastic producer and DJ, we’re always eager to have him on the bill. Recently he cofounded party series @inputoutput.mp3 .

@jessnellrob was one of our earliest connects in the Brooklyn UKG community. We had her on for our third ever party and it was one of our breakthrough nights. The face of OnlyFemmes, JNR has become a mainstaple in the scene with her finely curated parties, two of which we had the pleasure of collabing on at Silo.

@gigi_rio_ is one of Brooklyn’s go to local UKG DJs. She’s shared the stage with such legends as Todd Edwards, Interplanetary Criminal, and Oppidan. She’s the founder of party series Unravel, but most recently Gigi Rio has been collabing with JNR on their new venture, blueshift. We also got to collab with her on one of our favorites parties of 2025 at @elsewherespace .

Catch the whole show Tuesday, 11/03, 7 - 10, at the RhythmRails Youtube, link in bio. And as always, we’ll be in the company of our man @lordofciphers .

And peep slide number 5 as a teaser for another announcement coming shortly 😈

Happy Wednesday everyone. Tomorrow, our latest @subtleradio airs live at 7am et / 12pm gmt. This lovely mix comes to you courtesy our guy @connector.nyc , another one of our favorite locals and party collaborators.

An indie dance producer, selector, and promoter reared in DIY, Connector’s approach to partymaking reflects a lifelong passion for discordant and energetic sound channeled through the medium of dance music. Cutting his teeth as an independent show booker in NYC, Connor Beckett McInerney’s love for indie rock is long documented in his decade-long career as a professional freelance music critic and editor, during which his byline appeared in storied publications such as Pitchfork, FLOOD Magazine, and Manhattan’s own The Deli Magazine (where he also once served as Managing Editor). After many sweaty nights in the crowd, McInerney took to the booth in 2021, honing his love of electro, house, and garage through a year-long residency at the now-shuttered Café Rosarito (where he hosted his monthly UNFILTERED party). His selections are frequently heard throughout north Brooklyn, where he’s lived since 2018.

Will share again once it’s live on Soundcloud. Hope y’all enjoy.

After a long wait, the Bus Loves UKG event is back on. We’re partnering up with @monkeywrench.nyc to bring you some UKG in an incredibly unique space secreted away inside their bus, complete with dance floor and bar. Excited to say we’ll be bringing in some familiar faces, as well as some new folks we’ve been eager to get up on one of our bills.

Space is limited, so please RSVP at the Partiful link in the bio if you intend on attending. We want to make sure we save spots for those who can assuredly make it out. If space is full, please join the waitlist as we’ll be allowing folks in as space allows.

10/02, 9 - 3, Brooklyn location TBD 😈

See you all there.

The next BK Loves UKG @subtleradio mix is going live this Thursday, 09/24, at 7am et / 12pm gmt and this one is coming to you courtesy one of our OGs.

Back before BK Loves UKG was even a thing, we had the pleasure of connecting with @julia_swisskp over our shared love of UKG. A mere few months later, the first BK Loves UKG party took place and, as the opener, @julia_swisskp became our first ever featured DJ. It’s been history ever since. And a fantastic partner in crime, she helped us throw one of our wildest parties back in 2024 (some have said it was too wild). @julia_swisskp has proven herself to be a multidisciplinary creative producer, including being a very talented DJ. Her sets mix ethereal, femme sounds with hard-hitting, wobbly bass, and UKG rhythms. She is based between Brooklyn and Rockaway, New York.

Catch the set live or catch it when we repost next week once it’s shared on Soundcloud. Tracklists on slides 3 and 4. I know y’all will dig it.
