I saw this film a few weeks ago. The film is visually stunning. The cinematography is top notch. I didn’t really grasp certain aspects of the film and what the director was trying to convey. The director of the film was present and he did some Q & A when the movie was over and he helped connect some dots as far as the messaging of the film. I think it was good overall but some aspects were a little confusing. #ifigowilltheymissme by @bklyn_mintz

🔥🔥🔥 I really enjoyed #adifferentworld on #netflix The entire cast and crew did a great job! It was a little too much sex in the second half of the season but it a dope show. by @bklyn_mintz

The grandparents didn’t want the boys to pursue music because their mom was a musician. What did the mom’s death have to do with making music? #thedrop is starting to get on my nerves! I don’t like the writing! by @bklyn_mintz

Keep Brooklyn Black!

2026 was probably the best summer in NYC that I can remember as an adult. The energy in NYC was really different this particular summer. I have to give a lot of credit to the #knicks They set the tone for the spring and early summer. Everybody was outside and everybody was in a good mood. New Yorkers have never been more neighborly to one another. Besides the Knicks the Brooklyn #blockpartys were the best things about the summer! Harlem is always lit and they had some good block parties. The #harlemnightmarket was crazy but Brooklyn had it for the entire summer! The Bronx had Hovchella and they always outside in the Bronx. They do not need a reason to stand around. Queens need to have more events that are catered to black people. Queens is too multicultural they don’t really have events that are primarily for black people. Brooklyn had so many events that catered to different black crowds. Everything from hip hop, r&b, old school, current, reggae, soca, comedy, live bands etc… So many Caribbean parades… Lastly, the best thing about the summer was that most of the events were free! All you had to do was bring your spliff. Bring your bottle or support the local nutcracker vendor. lol. & you are good money!!! Support the vendors and get some food. You were good all summer!!! Ice cups, bottles, spliffs, food plates, foldable chairs, track suits & fesh kicks all summer! The only thing I’m mad about is that I should have took more pics! 🤦🏾‍♂️

Oh yeah #stoopset had shit on smash all summer! They threw the best events!

Brooklyn won the summer‼️‼️‼️🏆🏆🏆
