I can bearly stop thinking of my time on the Klamath

I missed the start of the big salmon run by just a day, but that didn’t stop me from putting a nice one in the net, bringing in my first steelhead (released), learning a ton, and meeting some great people. The Klamath is such a special place and I know I’ll be back.

Thank you, John 🎣 taken in Klamath, California by @bkmvision

KaiPie is nine!

Sweet. Spicy. Silly.

Her face may be a little bit whiter, the naps are a bit longer, and this girl still sends it. She’ll do almost anything for treats and she’s the queen of our pack. Every day is a gift. Happy birthday to my soul dog!

It is said that steelhead are the fish of a thousand casts. I got about 250 casts in, so it’s no surprise I reeled in a few quarter pounders and not a whopper. Burger jokes aside, I started the year out fishing - learning new skills, building relationships, and making memories.
