If you are in Beaune, Burgundy on a Saturday, as we usually are on our
wine tours, it is almost a must to go to the market on Saturday morning
before the morning winery visit on Saturday. It is a fantastic market
that has everything you could hope for and more, everything from
chanterelles, cheeses and sausages to leather wallets and underwear. All
right outside the beautiful Hospice de Beaune.

Frost is a problem in Chablis. In one of the photos, on the left, you can see a pipe used for water spraying in the spring when there is a risk of frost (not irrigation); in the other, there is—presumably—a heating element, the black wire (it is not an irrigation hose). On tour in Burgundy. by @bkwinetours

The interesting thing in this picture from Chablis grand cru is not the soil, the grass or the vines. It,s the black wire. It is not irrigation. My guess is that it is a heating wire for frost protection. What do you think?
