4.5 hours of scrimmage at my first Level Up 🛼💨🏆

First MVP Jammer award! I cried so hard. 😭

7 months post-surgery. Finished PT in December, been hitting the gym 3x a week, and taking my dog on 2–2.5 mile walks every day.

Last year was brutal—I couldn’t make Level Up because of pneumonia, and before surgery, they thought I might need chemo… luckily, no cancer.

But here I am. 💪🐕⚡
Last season: alternate. This season: on the roster. 🔥

Roller derby teaches you to take hits… but the hardest? Trusting your body again.Still getting stronger every day.

And damn… I’m proud of myself. 🖤🛼💥

This season has been full of plot twists — stress, surgery, and more slow days than I can count.

So thankful for everyone who’ve shown up with care, patience, and love — it’s meant everything.

I’m still healing ❤️‍🩹

Also, yes, I picked the song, in honor of my sick new neck scar. Just in time for spooky season. 🎃 by @bl00dys1ash3r

First roller derby bout, first jam, and I made lead jammer! Still in awe. This sport has my heart. 🖤💚
This was 10+ years in the making. by @bl00dys1ash3r

Also, I dyed my hair green/black and I am unfortunately in my baddie era; you’ve been warned 😘
told y’all I’m only getting weirder and hotter. 🙃🙃

Sometimes all you need is to drive back home to Georgia to have a movie night with your best friend to reset the soul 🥰 by @bl00dys1ash3r

Disclaimer: This is not filmed on my new camera but I did upgrade my phone. I’m feeling really inspired and excited. I bought the camera for myself for my birthday. I felt a bit guilty for buying it. But I’m finally using it because it’s something I’ve wanted for so long.
3rd time at RollerCon - first time coming to RC as a fully rostered skater with a whole season this year.

Almost a year ago, healing from my surgery. I had a thought of giving up derby and giving up on myself. I’m really glad, I never did give up. I completed pt, got my mobility back in my right arm, and even passed the reassessment to get rostered again. I did it. Now I’m almost done with grad school I just have one class left. I know I can do it, because just look how far I’ve come. by @bl00dys1ash3r

I rode a train 🚆 yesterday on Celine and Jesse Day.

June 16th
Happy Before Sunrise Day

I’ve filmed a bunch on my phone while being here and I want to make something of it so maybe when I get back I’ll go through it all.

Robert is always such a delight.
When he saw me, he called me “darling”—and I’ll take it, considering I was dressed as the Lady from one of my favorite films, Strange Darling. It’s on Paramount+ & I highly recommend.

the Lady is one of my favorite horror characters. She’s deeply complex & a force to be reckoned with. #strangedarling

kicked off Summerween with Spooky 👻 🎃

I’m still out of the country.
