I’m so glad I chose to attend an HBCU! @hbcubuzz x @hbcupass

There’s nothing like the culture, the traditions, the lifelong friendships, and the bond we share as alumni.

Enjoy Homecoming, make those memories, reconnect with your fellow alumni, and celebrate the legacy we’re all a part of!

HBCUs ARE OWED ANSWERS! @hbcubuzz

Did you know America’s 19 HBCU 1890 land-grant universities have faced decades of funding disparities?

Southern University
Prairie View A&M
And 17 other institutions
Some states have failed to provide the full matching funds required for certain federal programs, while significant funding disparities between Black and predominantly white land-grant institutions have persisted.

BILLIONS IN FUNDING DISPARITIES HAVE BEEN DOCUMENTED NATIONALLY.

Southern Got the Win, and the Jags Had a Come-to-Jesus Meeting!

Southern took care of business against Prairie View,

The Jaguars had a serious wake-up call the night before the game, but did that meeting make the difference?

We’re breaking down the big Southern win, what it means for the Jags.

The music, the food, the laughter, the fellowship, and a whole lot of Panther and Jaguar pride!

Southern may have walked away with the victory on the football field (we’ll give y’all that one 😂), but the real winners were everyone who came together to celebrate our HBCU traditions!

A huge THANK YOU to the Prairie View and Southern alumni who showed up and made this an unforgettable experience. Special appreciation to our partners, organizers, and volunteers who helped bring it all together!

Different school colors. A little friendly rivalry. A whole lot of HBCU love.

See you next year!
