🇸🇾 **We’re back from Syria. Alhamdulillah.**

The Blackbeard MMA delegation has returned home, and we’re still taking in everything we experienced.

As many of you know, Syria is a land of immense history, culture and beauty, but it continues to recover from years of war and devastation. Our team travelled there to support efforts helping some of the most vulnerable families rebuild their lives, regain stability and look towards a better future.

The experience was deeply humbling for all of us. More than anything, it was the Syrian people who left the deepest impression on us. Despite everything they have endured, we were welcomed with incredible warmth, dignity and generosity. Doors were opened to us, stories were shared, and hope was renewed through your generous contributions.

We travelled there intending to give, but we came away feeling that we had received far more than we could ever give.

Through your support, we were able to contribute towards **orphan sponsorships, widow support and rebuilding homes**. We witnessed first-hand the difference these contributions are making.

Every donation, every share and every du’a played a part in making this possible.

But the work is far from over. There are still families who need our support, and we hope to continue standing alongside them.

A reminder to ourselves before anyone else: **charity does not diminish what we have.** It purifies our wealth and brings blessing in ways we may never see. The Prophet ﷺ taught us that **charity does not decrease wealth.**

JazakAllahu khayran to everyone who donated, shared, made du’a or supported the delegation in any way.

**This is only the beginning. 🤍**

Alhamdulillah, another one in the books.

A day of training, brotherhood, reminders and good company. We brought together brothers who are all trying to better themselves, strengthen their deen and become better versions of themselves.

JazakAllahu khayran to Coach Fahmi @f4hm1.1dd1 for leading the session, putting us through our paces and making sure we all put in the work. And to @blackbeardacademy for always supporting.

None of us are perfect, and none of us have it all figured out. We’re simply on the same journey.
