16 HOURS. TWO DAYS. COUNTLESS ORNAMENTS. And a whole new appreciation for people who do this for a living! 😂🎄

Two hours just to assemble this tree. Another four hours decorating it, only to realize we didn’t have nearly enough to fill it. So naturally, another store run on Monday because apparently we weren’t in deep enough already! 😂

What you don’t see in these beautiful Christmas trees all over social media is the amount of TIME, patience, creativity, and WORK that goes into making them look this incredible.

I have an entirely new level of respect for professional Christmas decorators. Seriously, you deserve every penny you charge because HOLY SHIT, this is no joke!

And I cannot thank my sweet friends Amber and Myrna enough. They gave up two days of their time, shared their incredible talents, and helped bring this entire vision to life. I truly could not have done this without them.

Was it exhausting? YES.
Did we question our sanity a few times? ABSOLUTELY.
Would I do it all over again? Just look at this tree. ❤️

We are beyond thrilled with how it turned out. It is absolutely STUNNING, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the two amazing women who helped make it happen. The countless @johnmarkenterprises videos I watched were insane!

Now somebody please tell me we can leave it up until February! 😂🎄

Meet our assistants, Ashlynn and Alena! 🤍

We’re so excited to have these two as part of the Blackbird team and to be a part of their growth in the industry. One of the best parts of what we do is continuing to learn, share knowledge, and help the next generation of stylists build their skills and confidence.

We can’t wait to see all they accomplish, watch their skills grow, and cheer them on along the way. So happy to have you both at Blackbird! 🖤✨ by @blackbird.salon

Our friends at Blackbird Salon had a little fun with rollers yesterday! 🖤

They’re not only a great local business that supports Stroll Lake Windcrest, but they also do beautiful work!

A little gloss and a little chop goes a long way.✨

Keyla worked her magic on this refresh, adding shine and richness with a gloss and finishing it off with the perfect cut.
