Hundreds of thousands in free credits, in exchange for a little equity.

That is the OpenAI and Y Combinator move Robert Rizk calls very strategic, and he is competing in the same market. He co-founded Blackbox AI (@blackboxai_inference) and took it past $300M in revenue. His read is that fast moving startups live and die on unit economics, and some labs have worked out that a low enough price is the way in.

Forty, fifty years of company know how, routed to whoever quoted the lowest price per token.

Robert Rizk built Blackbox AI on end to end encryption, and he is blunt about the zero data retention promises those cheap endpoints publish: it is a policy, not a technology. Your codebase, your financials, your customers, and on the other end a foreign company racing to win the same AI race you are in.

Two very different crowds are pushing AI toward open weight, and only one of them is thinking about control.

Richard Rizk serves open weight models to global enterprises at Blackbox AI. US companies want the weights in house, owning their own data. Everyone else is on a public router set to the cheapest price, and those cheapest endpoints are usually Chinese labs underpricing their own models.

Any developer can download the weights now. The model stopped being the advantage.

Robert Rizk co-founded Blackbox AI (@blackboxai_inference), now past $300M in revenue, and he puts the gap between good and great AI companies in one place: how many tokens you get out of each GPU. That decides your margins, how much usage you can handle, and how many customers you can sign.

And right now nobody can just go buy more GPUs.

The cheapest AI model can put your company’s data at risk.

@blackboxai_inference ‘s Robert and Richard Rizk built a $300M+ revenue business on encrypted AI. They get into who can see your prompts, why open and closed models will share the market, and the Navy SEAL mindset behind their culture.

WhatsApp encrypted your messages. Signal encrypted your calls.

Nobody encrypted your AI prompts. Until BLACKBOX.

END-TO-END ENCRYPTION at the token level. Zero data retention. Zero revenue from Chinese AI labs.

“The solution that we have does not exist even within the most secret environments.”

As AI is transforming the enterprise, one concern keeps coming up: Data Security

At @raisesummit we asked participants one simple question: “Are you concerned about the security of your data when using AI?”

The answer was almost unanimous.

That’s exactly why we built
BLACKBOX AI

A secure AI infrastructure that protects enterprise data across every model and agent.

Here’s what people think about AI data security👇 by @blackboxai_inference
