Dare I mention the C word?!

That’s right, Christmas isn’t actually too far away and I have a lovely workshop planned just before the big day. A chance to put down the shopping bags and do something for you! Or time to fit in a thoughtful DIY gift! You will leave with your own beautifully painted frame- just perfect for a treasured photo and a special pressie. Or perhaps a little pressie for yourself?

This will be at Wild Roots in Poole- a relaxed and dedicated workshop space and a great spot to mooch for last minute Christmas gifts!

Follow the link in my bio- just £35 per head!

Well what a gorgeous holiday that was. Had no idea I needed it as much as I did! Sometimes you need to back out of ordinary life to get some perspective. I think the challenge is nurturing that feeling and making it last- let me know if you know how to do this?!

So now ready for a slow decent towards autumn and planning for upcoming markets and new shop stock! Excited for some cosy peach and oranges and nods towards winter sun, watch this space! by @blackbyrdframes

What a gorgeous Saturday spent with an amazing bunch of people! This felt like my first proper workshop with not just close friends and I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and friendly group. Lots of painting, learning, chatting and loveliness.

Everyone seemed so happy with what they made, every single one completely unique and everyone going home with all the tips they need to do it again!

And thank you so much @wildrootsgreenery for the gorgeous workshop space, facilities and encouragement. Look out for another workshop this winter! Dates coming soon!

And don’t forget I am available for private workshops in your own space- perfect for birthdays, hen parties, baby showers, special get togethers or just a crafty evening in! Just get in touch :)

I’ve been pondering what keeping me doing what I do and for me it’s all about colour! Our home is full of colour, my wardrobe is full of colour, often not cohesively 😂

Upcycling frames has given me an outlet to express this and constantly find new ways of using colour and pattern. I love how it makes me feel and that’s what keeps me coming back to it! I’ve always wanted to be creative and combining simple colour and pattern makes that possible.

So even if you don’t think you’re ‘artistic’ then you might surprise yourself! Follow along for inspiration and tips to get your own creativity going!
