Daughter Today, as you graduate from 8th grade and prepare to begin your journey into high school, my heart is overflowing with pride. It feels like just yesterday I was holding your little hand, watching you take your first steps, and now I am watching you take another giant step toward your future.

You have grown into a beautiful, intelligent, strong, and kind young lady. Through every challenge, every lesson, every success, and every obstacle, you have continued to shine. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

As you enter high school, I want you to remember that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. There will be moments that test you, moments that inspire you, and moments that help shape the incredible woman you are becoming. Never forget your worth, never dim your light, and never stop believing in yourself.I am proud not only of your grades and accomplishments, but of the person you are.

As you turn this page and begin a new chapter, know that I will always be cheering for you, praying for you, and standing beside you. First and foremost, I want to thank God for everything He has done for me and everything He has in store. 🙏🏾 This year has tested me in so many ways, but through it all I’ve stayed humble and grateful. No matter how heavy the storms, the tears, or the pain I kept pushing forward.

And because of that, I’m proud to say I accomplished some major milestones: I got one of my dream cars 🚘, moved my family into our new home 🏡, and checked off 4 goals from my vision board ✨. So yes, I’m taking a moment to pop my sh*t 🤏🏾 because I’ve earned it.

But more importantly, I just want this to be a reminder: life will get hard, but don’t give up. Keep pushing you never know how close you are to your breakthrough. 💪🏾 by @blackchinasworld
